Business Development Intern

Description      

The BDI should complete all tasks assigned by manager which may include conducting thorough market research, identifying business opportunities, create/manage sales and marketing campaigns, generate sales leads, participate in meetings, assist the internal team wherever possible. BDI should be able to take instructions and also work unsupervised when required. 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct desktop research, gather information through surveys, leads nurture, etc 

  • Identify and generate quality leads from different geographical markets 

  • Communicate and reach out to clients on daily basis 

  • Prospect potential customers over virtual media like emails, social/professional sites, etc 

  • Perform duties assigned by Reporting Manager 

  • Report relevant findings from the strategies implemented and get them approved by the company’s senior management 

  • Provide input on customer briefs, presentations and sales literature 

  • Develop strong client relationships and retain existing accounts 

  • Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentation to staff and other stakeholders 

  • Managing sales process, identify new business development channels and promote the company 

Skill Set

  • Possess excellent communication in English 

  • Have a go-getter attitude to achieve targets successfully 

  • Strong commercial character and customer-oriented thought process 

  • Willingness to work with the same spirit for long hours and meet target expectations 

  • Good negotiation and persuasion skills 

Qualification 

  • Any UG degree freshers.
